2009 PARC Dinner

7 09 2009

Saturday 29 August

The night was cold, wet and windy but the 2009 PARC Dinner on Saturday 29 August was a great success.  Our guests of honour were the Mayor and Mayoress of the Enfield Port Adelaide Council (Gary and Vicky Johansson).  The guest speaker was James McCrae, the Australian and International champion from the Murray Bridge Rowing Club.  He inspired our top rowers with tales of competing in and training for the Olympics and national events.  The meal was delicious (thanks Annabel), the compering incomparable (thanks Aaron), the setting exotic (thanks senior girls) and the scullery work challenging (thanks Kathy, Sue, Susie, Bev and all).

2009-10 Committee

17 07 2009

The PARC AGM was held on Sunday July 2009, at which elections were held to fill positions that fell vacant.  The President, Helen Wighton, retired from that position and from the committee.  Wayne Severin was elected to the position of President and we welcome him on board, along with our new Vice-Captain, Luke Williams.  We thank Doug Anderson, who has left the Committee, for his long and valued contribution.  Details of the new committee are on our about page
